30 Years Strong Event
Hosted by NBC 5 News Reporter Lisa Parker, Sarah's Inn awarded two Visionary Awards to our loyal partners in our mission to end domestic violence: Oak Park Police Department for their long-standing commitment to provide vital and life saving services to victims of domestic violence and their families; Oak Park River Forest High School Physical Education Department for their partnership in creating and implementing our innovative Step Back violence prevention program for young men.
The night was a huge success raising over $65,000 in support for Sarah's Inn including $12,000 from the silent auction. Thank you to all of our committee members, silent auction donors, attendees and supporters who made this night possible. Thank you most of all to the brave founders of Sarah's Inn, who 30 years ago began an organization that has gone on to serve thousands of families in our community.
