Art for Good

Local Oak Park business, Marion Street Gallery, partnered with Sarah's Inn for a night of "Art for Good" and raised over $500 in support.  "We had the idea that we wanted to introduce the public to talented local artists while at the same time raising support for an organization that serves our community," said Kittie Rene, Gallery partner and artist, "We were happy to build a relationship with Sarah's Inn and believe in the work that they accomplish serving victims of domestic violence."

We are very grateful for the generous partnership and support of the gallery!  Even tornado bearing summer storms could not prevent supporters of Sarah's Inn and local shoppers in the area from enjoying the event.  Live music was provided by Chicago area  jazz musicians Rocky Yera (saxophone) and Darwin Norguera (piano).  Guests sampled appetizers and beverages while walking through the gallery's beautiful selections of art.

Thank you to all of you who came out to show your support for local artists while contributing to help the families we serve at Sarah's Inn!  We hope to see you next year at "Art for Good."
