"I am inspired during every shift at Sarah's Inn to work hard on behalf of victims and their families. The staff is so extraordinarily dedicated...I am proud to volunteer for such an agency."
-Jan Goldberg, Sarah's Inn Volunteer Advocate
Volunteers are an essential part of daily operations at Sarah's Inn and make important contributions toward ending domestic violence in the communities we serve.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Sarah’s Inn, please contact Mark Tisdahl, Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator, at
Community Outreach and Education Volunteers
You can help clients who attend domestic violence support and education groups. Sign up to donate and serve a meal donation on agreed upon Wednesday or Thursday (see Sarah's Inn volunteer calendar below for open dates). Great experience for families or groups! Learn more here.
Host a Fundraiser or Drive
Hospitality and fundraising volunteers serve on special event and fundraising committees, help with the Sarah’s Inn Holiday Gift Project and other annual events, and host fundraising parties at their homes. For more information on hosting a fundraiser or drive contact Susan Fritz at
Volunteer as a Group
