How Can I Help?

Donate!
The free and confidential services we offer to survivors of domestic violence would not exist without the financial support and generosity of the communities we serve. We are so grateful for the partnership of all our donors - every contribution makes a difference!

Donate On-Line: donate securely on-line by clicking here  and you will be redirected to our "Network for Good" donation site.

Donate by Mail: Please send a check or money or to: Sarah’s Inn , PO Box 1159, Oak Park, IL, 60304.

Donate Gift Cards: We accept gift cards in denominations from $15 - $25 from Target, Jewel, Walgreens, Walmart and other popular retail stores. This helps us to meet current client needs even when our pantry shelves are a bit low!

Support our Events & Fundraisers!
Follow our “In the News” section for the latest on our events and fundraisers. There are many activities throughout the year that you can attend and show your support for Sarah's Inn.

Help Spread the Word!
Become educated, and help others to become educated, about domestic violence. Ask your church, school, social organization or work place to host a presentation by our Community Outreach & Education staff. Learn about the dynamics of domestic violence, the cycle of violence, services available to survivors and perpetrators, how to help a friend and much, much more.

To schedule a presentation contact Colleen Sutkus, Associate Program Director, at (708) 386-3305 x1026 or csutkus@sarahsinn.org.

Volunteer!
Sarah’s Inn relies on a dedicated and passionate team of volunteers to assist us in accomplishing our mission. Please note that all volunteer activities that work directly with clients require a state-mandated 40 Hour Domestic Violence Advocate training that is offered 3-4 times each year free of charge.  For more information on specific volunteer opportunities click here.
