Vintage Village Fayre's Hot Cocoa for Charity
Looking for something out-of-the-ordinary for your family holiday shopping? Come to the Vintage Village Fayre sponsored by the Avenue Business Association (of Oak Park). The Fayre is a magical, historical holiday weekend on the Avenue, featuring in-store events and specials, activities for children and families and more. You can start your weekend fun with a Hot Cocoa for Charity on Friday, December 4th, 5pm-8pm in the Holley Court Center. Caribou Coffee is sponsoring the Hot Cocoa which will be sold for $1 each. All of the Hot Cocoa proceeds will be donated to Sarah’s Inn and three other local not-for-profit agencies servicing the Oak Park area. Then Santa arrives at Scoville Square to light the holiday tree and lead the Oak Park and River Forest High School’s chorus in carols. On Saturday, December 5, there will be photos with Santa, holiday storytelling, strolling carolers and hot chestnuts and popcorn. The festivities continue on Sunday with live music and holiday candle decorating.
