Become a part of our vision to end domestic violence! With your help we can bring even more people on board to support us as we seek to serve domestic violence survivors and their families.
What is a House Party?
House parties are opportunities for people to join together in someone's home to learn more about Sarah's Inn and how they can join our cause. Hosts provide snacks and invite friends and family to join them for a chance to learn more about Sarah's Inn. Attendees will learn all about our diverse programs while hearing from a staff or volunteer about current projects and pressing issues. At some time during the night guests are given an opportunity to financially support Sarah's Inn and our efforts.
Can I Host a Party?
Are you familiar with Sarah's Inn and our mission and programs? Are you passionate about serving survivors and helping to end the cycle of domestic violence? Do you know friends, family members, community connections who you could invite to your home? If you answered YES to any of these questions then you are ready to host a party!
How Do I Get Started?
Contact our office to receive a prepared House Party Kit that contains step by step instructions on how to host your party and make it a success. Our staff will help you by providing preparation materials and tips, answering your questions, and assisting with follow-up after the event. Staff and volunteers are also available (by appointment) to attend the party and represent Sarah's Inn.
